Unlike traditional system management tools, Invio solutions are designed for the process of storage management, enabling enterprise IT to dynamically model, automate and control storage operations and workflow-according to the company's own best practices. With Invio's modular application suite the customer is able to quickly select from a broad range of out-of-the-box processes including provisioning, space optimization, replica management, backup and recovery. This base implementation can then be incrementally extended to allow the company's service delivery processes to adapt and thereby align the enterprise IT infrastructure with the needs of the business.

Invio has established important OEM relationships with key industry leaders including BMC Software, McData, Veritas Software and others. Invio was acquired by Veritas Software Corporation in July of 2004.
